Okay, geeks, you win. 

As I was looking into rarp.c and thinking of a compatibility flag, 
I began to realize, that I wouldn't like to see these kind of odd
hackings in the kernel. I decided to build it in userland (as I 
succeeded with a similar problem last weekend after looking into
net/ipv4/packet.c). Okay, it took me more than an hour...

One question remains:

How to hear for the two different types of packages, without 
grabbing for all or using two sockets.

In the kernel a linked struct packet_type is used. (AFAI understand
it). Any relative in userland?

My applet was for netbooting praehistoric atari's with BioNet
DMA-Nodes...
