We have linux 2.0.30 install on IBM Netfinity with SCSI Hard disk 4 GBytes
and memory 128 MB (already append=mem=128M")
Install with squid, mrtg (with cron 5 minutes), about 30 users to access
internet with WavePoint.
The problem is when server up about a week , performance server become slow
(sometime i got error messages : couldn't get free pages).
I' ve already check file /proc/sys/vm/freepages :
256 384 512
Can anyone help me to see what's wrong with our server??
