hi, i have been having fun with ipfwadm and was wondering if anyone had gotten their dhcpcd ip assigned router to do ping replies using the network.sh ?? i am using the supplied LRP ipfwadm 'network.sh' script to setup rules. but i am able to ping from LRP linux to anywhere but can't ping from internal network to the internet. i have tried to add.. #ipfwadm -I -a accept -P icmp -V external-nic-ip-addr -S 0/0 -D 192.168.2.0/24 but am still not not getting the echo replies. i know that the replies are being TX and RX as i see increments of TX and RX but can't seem to get the script right. where have i gone wrong??
