| Is that a DECchip part
| number? There's a 21140 --that would want the 'tulip' driver. I
| thought that the Compaq Netelligent cards were, like their older
| NetFlex cards, built around the TI ThunderLAN chip, which would take
| the 'tlan' driver.
|
| Is it possible that the 21150 is not part of the
| NIC? Digital Silicon also made PCI bridge chips with similar
| numbers, but I don't recall exactly what numbers those had.
| Wait...I have a box with one of those... yes, a DECchip 21152 is a
| PCI bridge, so I'll bet the 21150 is too. Try the tlan driver for
| your Netelligent 10/100TX.
Arrrggghhh!!! I've misreaded the cat /proc/pci! You are right, the
DEC DC21150 is a PCI Bridge. I've configured the kernel with the tlan
driver and now the box is running well!
Thanks!
