First I am very sorry to post this here. Is there a better place
please let me know. The problem is with LILO.
I have two harddisks.
Disk 1: 270MB Disk 2: 811MB
Linux (Redhat 5.2) Win 95
CHS = 944/14/40 1647/16/63
The system has a bios limitation 504MB. LILO is installed in the
MBR of Disk 1 (270 MB). Now if configure any one of them as first
hard disk, then the respective operating system boots fine. But for
the above configuration LILO doesn't boot Win95 from the second
harddisk. I tried with the linear option as well. But no luck. LILO
reports non system disk. I can't configure the Linux Harddisk as
second disk since it is a old one, I am not even sure of whether it
has any option for it.
With almost similar kind of disks (270MB and 1.2GB) with Linux as
second hard disk(1.2GB) I had LILO booting the second hardisk. But in
that system linux is in the second harddisk.
What should I do to get LILO boot WIN95 from the second hard disk.
