Your problem rang a bell - I remembered reading about it and saving the
e-mail. What you have to do is fake out Windows so it thinks it is
booting off the first hard drive. This is a limit of DOS and Windows
95/98, It has to boot off the first hard drive! The LILO config
below shows how to fake out MS so that it thinks it is on the first
drive... (Thanks to [EMAIL PROTECTED])

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=50
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.32
        label=linux
        root=/dev/hda1
        read-only
        alias=l
other=/dev/hdb1
        table=/dev/hdb
        map-drive=0x80
        to=0x81
        map-drive=0x81
        to=0x83
        map-drive=0x82
        to=0x80
        map-drive=0x83
        to=0x82
        label=dos
        alias=win95
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.31
        label=old
        root=/dev/hda1
        read-only
        alias=lo

What you probably want to boot Windows from the second disk is an
entry like this...

other=/dev/hdb1
        table=/dev/hdb
        map-drive=0x80
        to=0x81
        map-drive=0x81
        to=0x80
        label=dos
        alias=win95

The lilo docs go into this in a lot more detail...
Good luck!
