I have received a number of replies along this line (BTW -- thanks to
everybody for those quick responses). Anyway, I tried using FDISK from
within the install, and it too refuses to deal with that drive. For
the 6.0 install, it does not tell me anything, but simply will not enter
the FDISK menu when I select /dev/hdb. Would it be different if I broke out
of the install script and executed FDISK from a shell?
I tried going to the 5.1 install, and there fdisk actually tells me that
it cannot read the partition information on /deb/hdb, and then refuses to
deal with that drive.
Again, thanks for the suggestions.
