You have to set up Administrator in your smbusers
Here's what my smbusers file looks like:
# Unix_name = SMB_name1 SMB_name2 ...
root = Administrator
nobody = guest
The other user accounts don't have to be in smbusers but,
root/Administrator does.
You have to rebuild your smbpasswd file after you do this.
