Hello everybody,
I am suffering from a strange problem.
I am connecting my office LAN with the ISP using PPP. Currently I am using
Slackware Kernel 2.0.29 and its working fine.
I have tried to upgrade to Slackware 4.0( Linux kernel 2.2.6).
After getting connected I can ping to any host. My DNS server can resolve
every thing. I can traceroute any host.
But I can't telnet, ftp or browse and Sendmail is not working.
If I try telnet some_host. It says
Connected to some_host.
Excape charecter is '^]'.
And waiting for good. Even I can't telnet from out side to the machine.
But I can do every thing inside my LAN.
I am sure that there is no routing problem.
Any sugesstion for me?
