But 100 Mbit TR can still perform better than 100 Mbit Ethernet, which was
actually the point I was trying to make. It cannot touch gig Ethernet on
sufficient hardware, but that wouldn't really be an apples to apples
comparison. I suppose I should have more clearly stated this earlier!

Once we have gigabit token ring. Right now even with 1.5K frames we
saturate 100Mbits without trying
