If by line printer you mean something that can only print text,
then you could take a look at the ps2ascii script that comes with
ghostscript...it will try to pull the text out of a PS file...then
you can print the result.
If by line printer you mean something else, then again take
a look at ghostscript, as it can print postscript on just about any
printer imaginable.
