sorry if this question is so childish! but I got confused with this problem :(
I have two modems on /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1 and I want to run
ppp server for both. I use mgetty for AUTOPPP .. so I need to fire up
two mgetty in inittab:
7:2345:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -D -s 38400 ttyS0
8:2345:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -D -s 38400 ttyS1
but second process does not come up and the kernel says:
INIT: Id "8" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
Is it because of two mgettys ? and what should I do to make it so?
