Hello All,

I am in the process of configuring a multi-homed Linux 6.1 box which will be
utilized as a web/proxy, firewall solution. Here's a quick break down of
what I have going on:

1. I have a DSL connection to Pac Bell with a 29 bit subnet. I want to be
able to receive email (which needs to be forwarded to an exchange server),
browse the web, etc.

2. I have a local LAN running windows NT and exchange. Currently I have
Microsoft proxy running on my PDC which is currently doing all of my
caching, proxying, etc. I want to do away with the Microsoft Proxy and
implement ipchains/firewall, squid caching, and HTTP services utilizing
Linux 6.1.

Basically, my concern is this. As mentioned above, I have exchange running
on a multihomed NT box running 207.x.x.x (public IP address). I want to
take that IP address and assign it to my public NIC card on the Linux box.
All MX records point to the 207.x.x.x IP address. How does one go about
forwarding all SMTP packets destined for 207.x.x.x port 25 to the exchange
server (10.x.x.x) residing on my private network? If you could forward the
syntax I need, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I have read the Linux IPCHAINS-HOWTO by Paul Russell (which is very useful
BTW), but was unable to obtain the information I needed to make this work.

Thank you very much (In ADVANCE),
