Hello,

im trying to get up following configuration: We have two
offices connected via two 3Com Netbuilder RemoteOffice Router
over a 64K ISDN leased line. There are several unix machines
in the second network, e.g. a DG Aviion running DG/UX, which
can be accessed fine from the first network all the time.

Now we installed a RH6.0 linux box in the second network.
Opening a telnet-session from the first network succeeds,
but on "fast" output (e.g. browsing through a large file
with "less" while hitting the up / down buttons very fast)
the connection hangs. Trying to reach the apache-server
on the RH6.0 box results in a connection loss after a few
transferred Bytes. Apache logs the hit correctly, no errors.
"netstat -t" shows an established connection, after some
time it changes state to "FIN_WAIT1", and so on till the
system closes the connection. Sending a file to the box
from remote via FTP results in a newly created but empty
File on the RH6.0 - Box - the client shows some transfered
blocks and then the connection hangs.

There are no errors on the interface, no error in any logfile.
Accessing the box within its LAN works fine.

Ive tried both kernel 2.2.5 and kernel 2.2.12 on the
box - no change. Ive now placed a second box there
running RH6.1 - same result, connection hangs if accessed
from remote. Ive tried Windows & Unix Clients - same bad
result.

Has anybody any idea?
