/me to. i had to force the 3c905 to full duplex 100 mbit with the option
parameter. see source code of 3c905 for details. don't know if this
works with all cards. 

or simply use the new driver by the 3com people (look at donald
beckers homepage for an url). i had to use it to get very new 3com cards
working, and so far i had no problems.
