ethertap

If I build ethertap into the kernel it works but I only have tap0
I have created the corresponding char files in the dev directory, checked
the major / minor numbers but to no avail.
If I build ethertap as a module when I insmod it two symbols are
unresolved - netlink_kernel_create and netlink_broadcast

help ?
