Help Needed

Hi,
My doubt is related to the redistribution of OSPF routes in RIP updates. In 
the specification of RFC 1723, a unused field in RIP-v1 is replaced by a 
new field called Route Tag. I think this is used for the redistribution of 
the routes learned from some other protocol example OSPF. Can I know the 
possible values for this field ?
