My way of doing this is to re-install Red Hat from the CD in custom mode? Do
not format the partitions ofcourse... and when Red Hat asks for the packages
to be installed just uncheck all the options (why?) because this will save a
lot of time. Now the install LILO in the boot sector. voila.
