hi,
i use a 3Com Vortex NIC on a redhat 6.0 machine and
get
precisely the same problem with 'route'.
when i add a default route, i just hangs.
but if i cntrl C and then do a route del default...,
the entry gets removed (apparently) since the table
now shows up prim and proper.
some bug?
