We have DSL over frame relay customers with over 700 DLCIs on a T3 frame
line, and linux doesnt seem to like having 700 virtual interfaces very
much. With 900 channels, which is about the max per line, an ifconfig takes
about 3 seconds to return, and I assume its sorting through a linked list....
Are there hopes of hashing this at some point? Big frame systems are likely
to have hundreds of interfaces even in non-dsl environments.
