I have Redhat 6.0 and ipchains as a firewall/NAT using a cable modem (DHCP)
via a network card. Simple.

I add a third network card and add the second cable modem (DHCP) and now
I have two default routes. If the first cable modem (ISP) stops working for
what ever reason the second default route does not take over.

What is the simplest way of getting multiple default routes to dynamically
manage themselves?

This is probably not a easy question. I am having difficulty finding
good/easy documentation on this. iproute2 and Zebra come up and I would
dig into one of these if someone would point the way to go.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Brent Welke
