Not sure if this relates or not. I have a number of Alpha's running linux
and I have found that I cannot the the latest snmpd to work corrcetly(at
least I think it is an snmpd problem) What I think I have traced it to is
the fact that some of the counters in the alpha are defined as "long".
This means that they are 64 bits long. I can read the data from the
systems up to the point where I try and get the value of one of these
counters then I get a timeout error.
