Hmmm... what if the scheduler is hung?  What if the driver probes
previously assigned I/O ports?  What if I can't believe the clutch shot

If possible, have you tried changing the driver's debugging options, and
then brought up the interface under this condition?  If it's not modular
have you tried changing kernel debug level?

I guess what I'm looking for is something to narrow down the
possibilities... otherwise God is finally getting around to honoring
those ultimatums you laughed at... ;)

I'm still left having to deal with the reality of a 21-year-old phenom
burying a clutch jumper in the closing seconds of a crucial game 2
playoff... anyone have any ideas how to deal with this problem? *sniffle*
