Hi all,

I am studying the Linux networking TCP/IP stack. So far I've been reading
all kinds of documentations I have found either on the web or in books. All
of them though, are based on the kernel 2.2 implementation or lower. I have
to decide wether to stay on 2.2 or to move to 2.4 but before that I wanted
to know what are the main differences between the two. Some questions are:
Is the code substantially different? What new functionalites has 2.4 that
were not supported in 2.2? Is 2.4 supposed to be faster? So basically, I'm
looking for some kind of comparison between 2.4 and 2.2.

Thanks!

Jordi
