Hello Lawson,many thanks for your hints,I solved installing the
"3.0.5-9.6x" and now gnorpm works again ;)...
Good! Since using the rescue option would be a very complex exercise to me
as I'am totally unsafe and unexpert around the "raw" bash window.

Beside this I still have the problem that the new rpm database doesn't recognize
the old installed packages so my system is not updated and an "rpm -Va"
reveals a lot of complains,unresolved dependencies,while checking the single
packages using gnorpm I see "no problems found".
