Anshu, I have not used Windows XP, but I did a quick Google search in terms of its file system. Unless I misread, the XP operating system, like Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, uses either the FAT32, New Technology File System (NTFS), or both. Riley's suggestion to use Linux fdisk I believe is a very good one. Make friends with Linux fdisk. Same with lilo. When I cannot remember lilo specifics, I do a quick Google search with terms like 'lilo howto' or something similar. Use Linux fdisk and lilo to set things up as your RedHat Installation Guide and Riley suggest, and I believe you will be pleased with your efforts and the results in both operating systems.
