To edit the file in vi, type:
vi /etc/lilo.conf (or whatever path lilo.conf is in). Same goes for joe
and emacs, but I like vi. Before you even attempt to use vi, though, you
need to read the man page or some other source to figure it out.
Alternatively, if you have the pine mail program installed, you should
have a page editor called pico, which is *very* easy to figure out. You
should definitely learn to use vi, though.
