According to Pirulo Gomez: While burning my CPU. > > Hi: > I've compiled the kernel 2.0.35 and when I try to comiple the Net-utils > this break whit various warnings at /linux/ip_fw.h > and: > make[1]: *** [masq_info.o] Error1 > make[1]: leaving directoty /usr/src/net-tools-1.33/lib > > WHY???????? > I make dep in /linux before compile net-utils Dont know, they compile fine here, send all the error's that are produced by make, then others might see your problem, ( i wont for 10 days i am going on holiday). Normaly one would untar the archive and type 'make' now just hit enter for each question, in other words use the defaults given. 2 things come to mind, either you dont have /usr/src/linux/include/linux/ip_fw.h or you did not complete the configuration properly in the net-tools dir. Another thing if you get over this problem your next problem is arp.c you will need to edit ../net-tools-1.33/arp.c and delete the very 1st line, NOTHING more, now 'make'. Even tho version 1-33 will suit 2.0.35 fine, there is a newer version out.
