Hi, fellow Linux travelers ...

I have a problem in FVWM.

Symptoms:

Sometimes it is impossible to give focus to a window in which I need to
work. This is especially a problem when there are several windows open,
say more than 5.

Often, I have to go around my virtual desktops and close a ton of
windows in order to be able click-to-focus on the window in which I need
to work. It is quite annoying.

Also, if I close the window that has focus, often the focus will jump
over to an unexpected window or icon, maybe even one that has not been
the focus for hours.

Here is a snippet of the relevant file, .fvwmrc:

# Set windows to auto-raise after 750 milliseconds if you like it.
# Autoraise can sometimes obscure pop-up windows. Performance is now
# similar to olvwm's auto-raise feature.
#AutoRaise 750

# Normally, we'll be in focus-follows mouse mode, but uncomment this
# for mwm-style click-to-focus
ClickToFocus

If you can help, I'd be happy to email tthe rest of .fvwmrc or any file
you need.

Norm
