linux and ati

I have installed red hat Linux 5.2 on my computer and when I try to start x
windows my screen acts like there is no horizontal hold.  In talking to a
couple of people they suggest it may be the video driver.  The video card is
a ATI All-in-Wonder PRO, pci with 8 meg memory.  Is there a cheap fix to
this?  I have found two sites that offer video drivers for a price.  But is
this my only option?  If it is, is it possible to download it with win95,
and then go into Linux and copy it over?
