I have the same card (but w/ 16meg) and just upgraded to 5.2 myself. what
monitor are you using? if you send me some more info i'll see if i can
offer some suggestions. i'm no linux genius, but i do have experience
with this card and a Sony 200ES running RH5.2.
i must say i don't like this card, i think my matrox mystique 4meg/pci
blew it away. but it was free from a guy i built a box for and i like
watching the tv when i'm doing long boring scan jobs for my wife's
imaging company. which i have to do under 98 cause of the cheapo parralel
scanner she gave me :(
also, did you use XF86Setup to configure the startup file? i don't think
you'll need to buy any other server, the one in 5.2 works for mine so it
should work for you.
