i have suse 5.3 installed on my system with gcc-2.7.2.1-6
i have been trying to install oracle 8.05 for linux. this requires linux
2.0.34 or higher (suse 5.3 has 2.0.35), and seems to require
gcc-2.7.2.3 (suse 5.3 has gcc-2.7.2.1-6) so i want to upgrade
when i try to upgrade my suse 5.3 with gcc-2.7.2.3-11.i386.rpm these is
come
dependency problem as follows:
failed dependencies:
/sbin/install-info is needed by gcc-2.7.2.3-11
what is the problem and how do i upgrade? is there a problem of using the
rpms from different distributions?
