You need to mount your DOS partition while in Linux.
mount -t vfat /dev/hd?? /ur_dir
hd?? = your DOS partition
ur_dir = the dir where you want to mount the partition
You can access the DOS partition then by doing
cd /ur_dir
cp ./wordperfect* /home/me
You get the idea...
