The whole thing is getting a bit long to keep re'ing it. I don't want a
distro flame war to start here -- that's not what I wanted at all. I've
heard all sorts of good and bad things about all distros. I do agree that
more newbies probably use RH because Slack is more difficult. My intention
was to ascertain whether or not anyone on the list was using slack -- coz if
I have a problem, it may be slack only and if only everyone else is using RH
then there would be no point posting...
Anyway -- thanks alot for all the responses I got from "just wondering...",
I hope I haven't moved anyone away from their RHs (hehe). Incidentally, the
only reason I started using Slackware was its hard to find anyone in NZ
selling it, so I sucked it off Sunsite. Now I've completely gunned Windoze
and loving it.
