I'm going to be purchasing a new Dell Dimension XPS R450 sometime between
March 1st-15th. How can I make sure that it is fully compatible w/ Linux
before buying it?
Here are some of the components:
Sound card: Turtle Beach Montego ll A3D? 320V Sound Card - I have the
commercial version of OSS, and it seems to have an unsupported driver for
this??
Video card: 16MB STB nVidia TNT 3D AGP Graphics Card - An X Server for it
comes with XFree86 3.3.3, one w/ full source even IIRC.
Tape drive: EIDE TR5 tape drive, doesn't say what brand\model
UPS: APC Back-UPS 500VA
