First of all, you can access the HowTos online at URL
http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX-3.html#ss3.1 .
Second, if you have the full 4-CD set, you have a "live" distribution on CD
#1 or #2, and the HowTos will be untar'd there (somewhere under /usr/doc).
Basically, you have two choices:
1. Repartition your drive so it has a Win95 partition and a Linux-native
partition. The HowTos explain it well.
2, Run a version of Linux that will load from a DOS partition. One such is
Zipslack, available with Slackware as of version 3.5 (your version is either
3.0 or 3.2, by that numbering scheme).
