Alright, where to start? I am running running redhat 5.0 with an ATI 3D Rage
Pro video card. The version of XFree86 i have does not support this
particular card. I have tried selecting the generic Mach64 xserver while in
Xconfigurator, but to no avail. All i can get using this is a black screen.
I then tried using both the SVGA and VGA16 xservers. These both produced
better results (and worse). The VGA16 produces an Xwindow with three of
everything; curors, windows(although only the right-most part of the
window). The SVGA produces the same, but five instead of three, and the
left-most part of windows instead of the right. I am pretty sure that i am
not just seeing things as i have my glasses on and have not been drinking.
