I already answered this sucks the list didn't accept my reply but here again. Yes I'm running a Viper 550 in Xwindows. YOu need to get the new drivers from http://www.Xfree86.org I think it's version 3.3.3.1 It works fine but only in SVGA so don't forget to get the server. The readme file is very detailed and the install should not cause you any problems.
