Yes, it is very easy. The command is

        rpm -e <pkg>

where <pkg> is the name of the package to be removed.

There are other options, but usually this is all you will need. RPM will
check to make sure that you don't have any other packages installed which
are dependent upon this one, then do the uninstall.
