ips/samba/nfs ...question

We have one linux box and one nt.  What is the combination of the above
programs that will enable me to do the following:

We want to have a few directories shared between the linux and nt.
Writing would be one way: write from linux to nt.  I am not familiar with
mounting an nt drive or directory into a linux file system.  Any
appropriate how-tos and a general description of what I am to be doing
would be great!
