I just d/l'ed Netscape 4.61 from Netscape and ran the install shell, which appeared to run without difficult. I accepted the default install that uses /usr/local/netscape for the install by default and I chose not to override the default. When I execute the binary from that directory it seems to work ok but when I click on one of the GNOME icons to kick off the program I get Netscape 4.51. So it would seem that RH's install chose another location to do the install. Anyway my question is how do I get the icons to point to the new install or do I reinstall the new version in another directory or what. BTW before I did the install I did look around for where the current install was and there are files with the string "netscape" all over the place. Thanks.
