Hi, Louis:

A friend of mine says that with linux
he can turn lead into gold.

I've been using MAXTOR drives and probably have fdisk'ed
and FDISK.EXE'ed and mke2fs and FORMAT.COM'ed them many times.
I have gotten hard drives into a state that totally confused DOS,
but when I used linux fdisk and set them to type '6', DOS could
use them again.

I wonder what FDISK.EXE or linux fdisk reports about
these 'destroyed' drives.
?

Regards, Chuck
