I tried a simple rpm with : rpm -i <JOE-something> and it installed fine.
How I do this one?
/mnt/cdrom/updates/i386/netscape-communicator-4.04-3.i386.rpm
testing it with : rpm .. <pkgname> gave:
-p -unexpected query source
-d -unexpected query specifiers
-test -test may only be specified during package installation,
erasure and building.
--checksig -Could not run pgp. Use --nopgp to skip pgp checks.
<pkgname>: size PGP md5 was NOT OK.
rpm -i <pkgname> did something :
/usr/share/icons/mini/mini-netscape.xpm
/usr/share/icons/netscape3.xpm
/usr/share/icons/netscape_3d.xpm
.... but they are too small to be Netscape.
Did not find anything else that looked like NETSC
RH 5.0. My CDROM with netscape is equally old.
Pentium-2, 160MHz, 64MB RAM.
I run the default, auto-install, package.
RH 6.0 expected arrival 1nov99.
