The HTML issue: I've reduced the size of my print so I
hope that does something, otherwise I don't know what to do. I've been
using this MS-Outlook for quite a while and no one has said anything until
now.
All right, I hope that issue is settled. Now on to the
subject of this post.
I did the 'mount /dev/cdrom /mnt' thing and got
the error msg:
mount: can't find /dev/cdrom /mnt in /etc/fstab or
/etc/mtab
Got up Gedit and located /dev/cdrom in mtab. Don't
know why it said what it did. Tried fstab and got the following error
msg:
fstype not supported by kernel
So went back to beginning and typed again:
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt
God back the message:
mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected,
mounting read-only
mount: /dev/cdrom already mounted or busy.
mount: According to mtab, /dev/hdc is already mounted on
mnt.
All right, so thinking the cdrom is already mounted, I type in
the next command as set forth in the Quake 2 manual:
# /bin/sh /mnt/setup
Result: The root prompt comes up and nothing else
happens. This is where I am stuck at right now.
Any ideas would help.
Thanks
