kmail has two choices in the file/settings/network menu: send mail
or smtp.
I want to use sendmail only cause I operate a couple of
one-way e-mail distribution lists and want to use aliases.
4 days ago I configured sendmail as best i could using the
linuxconf and netconf interfaces.
since then sendmail seems to be working only to some recipients.
obviously it has worked somewhat since I've sent to this group and
been received. But others haven't received my mail.
nothing has bounced back. no mailer-daemon messages. I looked in
/var/log/maillog and /var/log/messages and couldn't see anything
obviously wrong -- of course I don't know exactly what i am looking
for.
One AOL address in particular did not receive my mail.
obviously I don't know what other addresses I reached or didn't
reach.
can anyone point me anywhere to start figuring out what is going on?
