First, let me now thank to all who have helped me with my other problems
in the past. This is usually my last gasp at help--but I have looked
through all my documentation.
Now.....
I am having problems getting my sound to work under X. I have
configured my sound as a module, and also enabled PnP support. I have
edited conf.modules as it says in the AWE32 document in the Doc
directory on the CD:
alias sound sb
alias midi awe_wave
post-install awe_wave /bin/sfxload
options ......
and when I have recompiled the kernel and rebooted, it fails at loading
up the sound modules, saying that the Driver or resource is busy.
My system:
RH 6.0
Soundblaster AWE 64 PnP
Any idea why the resource should be busy during bootup??
