It's pretty easy to crash a linux box if you're root. Ever tried
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mem
for fun? Brings down a box *quick*. :-)
(don't try this at home unless everything is mounted read-only).
I guess it's just one more reason that people shouldn't wander around as
root all the time.
