Hi,

As far as I am aware, once your BIOS recognises the memory, as 99% of
computers will do, then Linux has no problems in 'seeing' it.
As usual, I dont know for sure :)

Cheers,

Barry.

Subject: How to add more memory?

Hi All;
I have RH6.1 installed and is working fine.
Now someone gave me more memory of the same kind I have, PC100.
Question: Is adding more RAM as easy as installing it on the motherboard,
and
Linux will use it?
If not, what is the process?

Thanks:
Masoud
