  Yes. Installing RAM is as easy as inserting the memory into the slot on
the motherboard. If you have an older kernel, linux may not recognize all
of your RAM(only 64MB). So you'll need to append a mem=64 into your
/etc/lilo.conf. But you don't have this problem with newer kernels. 
  Adding more memory into a system (esspecially a UN*X one) greatly
improves its speed and capabilities. Just today I've upgraded my system
from 32 to 96, and I can already see the difference!
