Try booting into staight DOS with a DOS boot floppy. You will need a
Windows95 or Windows98 system to create a boot floppy (if you don't have one
try a freinds or the local library or school). To create a DOS boot floppy
run this command at the prompt with a floppy disk in the A: drive

format A: /s

Copy rawrite.exe over to the A: drive.

Copy the RH boot disk image to the hard drive (FAT paration that can be
accessed in DOS). Something like (forgot how the RH CD-ROM is seutp)

copy D:\boot\linux.image C:\linux.image

(Where D:\ is the CD-ROM and linux.image is the name of the Linux boot disk
you are trying to create).

Reboot the computer (with the DOS boot floopy still in the drive) and it
should find the disk in the A drive and boot into a command line DOS prompt,
then run rawrite from here.

This method should work.

Also the NT error you are getting, I sometimes get that when I download a
binrary executable in ASCII mode, if you downloaded it, try again. Also
search freshmeat.net or another site for rawrite, a long time ago I remember
seeing a NT version of rawrite.

I am not sure about the OS/2 error.

Also if you BIOS supports it you should be able to boot directly off the RH
6.0 CD-ROM. In your CMOS table setup the start up like (for award BIOSes)

CDROM,A,C

Put the CD in, reboot and it and it should boot directly off the CD into the
RH installer.

Hope that helps,
Jack
